The Tutankhamun Exhibition Saatchi Gallery London

As part of this iconic tour we were selected by IMG to staff and manage the London stop of this once in a lifetime world tour of the Boy King. An absolute honour and privilege to work with such an iconic and legendary exhibition of the 4000 year old artefacts that were left to protect ‘Tut’ on his journey through the afterlife.

Coalition were contracted to manage the Guest Experience in London as part of the prestigious world tour. This involved recruiting and training a team of staff, including development of a training programme for the 6 month installation in London with some 50+ staff per day, 7 days a week. From queue management to tech operators to merchandise to photo booth operators.

We worked closely with our client to develop the Roles required & staffing strategy onsite for the 6 month exhibition. We were then responsible to recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling and running the payroll for all staff as well as the overall guest experience onsite at the gallery for this takeover of the Saatchi Gallery. 

We coined the term ‘King Tut Ambassador’ and recruited a workforce of some 250 staff who worked across the exhibition. From Scanning tickets to managing the VR experience to managing the Merchandise area.
